15 / MANAGED WEBSITE SERVICES AND MAINTENANCE

ONE WEBSITE.
ONE OWNER.

Accountability after launch—not a vague bucket of support hours.

North Growth Lab manages the agreed website business path across availability, recovery readiness, supported updates, lead delivery, measurement and controlled improvement. Choose care for a stable site, stabilisation before care or a rebuild followed by ongoing management.

Talk through the opportunity

[ WHEN THIS SERVICE MATTERS ]

THE BUSINESS ISN’T BROKEN.
THE SYSTEM IS LEAKING.

01

The website is live, but nobody can say who verifies an outage, tests recovery or owns the response when a critical page fails.

02

A form displays a success message while the business has no controlled evidence that the inquiry reaches the correct inbox or CRM owner.

03

Domains, hosting, plugins, analytics and vendor access have accumulated without a current responsibility map or a clean handover path.

[ BUILT AROUND OUTCOMES ]

WHAT
CHANGES.

OWN

Named responsibility

Every covered system and business path has an accountable owner, responsible operator, evidence and escalation route.

TEST

Recovery and lead-path evidence

Backup jobs stay separate from recovery tests, and browser success stays separate from verified inbox or CRM delivery.

MONTH

A useful decision report

Each reporting period separates automated signals, human verification, work completed, deferred risks and decisions required.

[ THE BUILD ]

ONE SCOPE.
NO LOOSE ENDS.

01

Responsibility and access register

Client-controlled ownership for domains, hosting, source or CMS, analytics, forms and business systems, with named minimum-necessary provider access.

02

Availability, backup and recovery care

Agreed public-route monitoring, human verification, documented backup boundaries and scheduled safe recovery tests.

03

Supported updates and change control

Platform, CMS, plugin or dependency work within a defined support boundary, followed by relevant page, form and measurement checks.

04

Lead-delivery and measurement checks

Controlled tests from public form acceptance through confirmation, inbox or CRM delivery and named response ownership.

05

Monthly operational report

Evidence, incidents, changes, risks and next decisions without fabricated uptime, rankings, leads or revenue claims.

[ CHOOSE THE RESPONSIBLE PATH ]

Care, stabilise or rebuild?

The recurring relationship starts from the current constraint. We do not prescribe a rebuild when the existing website can be operated safely and improved responsibly.

Current conditionStarting pathAcceptance evidence
Supported site; ownership and critical paths are healthyCareRegister accepted, monitoring active, recovery and lead-test schedule confirmed
Current platform can remain, but inherited faults or access gaps existStabilise + CarePriority faults corrected, residual risks accepted, recurring checks activated
Verified platform, structure or integration constraints block responsible improvementRebuild + Managed GrowthPreservation, launch, rollback, lead delivery and client ownership accepted before recurring care

The public scan is an outside-in baseline. Private hosting, backups, analytics, inbox delivery and account ownership require explicit owner-authorised evidence.

[ MONTHLY EVIDENCE ]

What a managed website report should prove.

A report should support decisions, not fill a dashboard. Each check names the period, source, owner, limitation and next action.

01

Availability and incidents

Covered routes, confirmed incidents, business effect, response, workaround and verified resolution.

02

Backup and recovery

Latest backup evidence, retention boundary, separate recovery-test result and unresolved restoration risk.

03

Lead delivery

Controlled browser, confirmation, inbox or CRM and ownership checks, kept separate from real sales reporting.

04

Changes and regressions

Updates and content changes with page, measurement, performance and accessibility verification where relevant.

05

Decision queue

Confirmed risks, recommendations, accountable owner, due date and the consequence of a documented deferral.

06

Handover readiness

Current client account ownership, provider access and export/removal state so the service never depends on technical lock-in.

[ HOW WE WORK ]

1

Baseline

Scan one important public page, map the business path and record the private evidence still required.

2

Own

Confirm client-controlled accounts, named roles, scope, coverage, escalation and the appropriate Care, Stabilise or Rebuild path.

3

Verify

Complete the accepted setup or remediation work and activate the agreed operational checks.

4

Report

Deliver evidence, decisions and bounded improvements each month, with a current handover state.

[ STRAIGHT ANSWERS ]

BEFORE
WE START.

What is included in managed website services?+

The exact scope is documented for the website. It can include agreed-route monitoring, backup and recovery checks, supported updates, controlled lead-delivery tests, measurement health, bounded content and SEO maintenance, regression checks and a monthly operational report.

Is website hosting the same as website management?+

No. Hosting provides infrastructure. Managed website service adds defined human and automated responsibility for operating the agreed business path, verifying failures, managing changes and reporting evidence. Hosting may be included or client-owned, but ownership and billing must be explicit.

Do you manage websites you did not build?+

Potentially. We first assess platform support, account ownership, known faults, recovery readiness and the critical lead path. A healthy site may move directly into Care; inherited risks may require a stabilisation scope before recurring management.

Does an old website always need a rebuild?+

No. We recommend a rebuild only when a verified platform, structure or integration constraint prevents the required outcome. Focused stabilisation and ongoing care may be the smaller responsible intervention.

Who owns the domain, hosting and website accounts?+

The client should retain appropriate ownership of business-critical accounts and grant named minimum-necessary collaborator access. The service includes a current responsibility register and a clean handover path rather than technical lock-in.

Can you support businesses in Australia and New Zealand?+

Yes, subject to an agreed scope and coverage window. North Growth Lab provides remote delivery organized around agreed Australian and New Zealand working hours and does not claim a local office.

Do you guarantee uptime, rankings or leads?+

No. Coverage, response definitions and evidence are documented for the actual scope. We do not invent uptime, ranking, lead, revenue or compliance guarantees. The goal is accountable operation and measurable improvement decisions.
