The original problem was positioning, not animation.
North Growth Lab initially leaned heavily toward website redesign for local home-service companies. That focus was useful for creating concrete demonstrations, but it made the agency appear narrower than the actual offer: strategy, identity, websites, applications, paid acquisition, conversion systems and AI-assisted lead operations.
The redesign reframed the company around one commercial promise—moving a business forward through connected brand, digital and growth systems—while keeping local-service concepts as evidence of craft rather than as the agency’s only market.
| Earlier state | Risk | Current system |
|---|---|---|
| Trade-specific redesign emphasis | Other businesses may self-disqualify | Agency-wide positioning with service-specific routes |
| Portfolio visuals without enough context | Concept work could be mistaken for client work | Explicit fictional-concept disclosure and differentiated demonstrations |
| Contact as the only useful action | Research-stage visitors leave | Free Growth Scan, useful guides and call booking |
| Pages operating separately | Weak discovery and measurement | Internal-link clusters, sitemap, analytics events and conversion paths |
What was built into the acquisition path.
The homepage now introduces the agency, the service system and the free diagnostic. Dedicated service pages explain web development, paid growth, branding, AI automation and applications in enough depth to support both visitors and search discovery. The portfolio shows distinct interactive concepts and mobile-product directions without inventing client relationships.
The Growth Scan gives a cautious automated review using the same visible rubric for every submitted page. It is not presented as a substitute for analytics access, technical crawling or a human audit. Visitors can request a human review when the automated result identifies a meaningful gap.
- Clear routes for visitors ready to scan, learn, view work or book.
- Service pages with unique metadata, FAQs, breadcrumbs and contextual guides.
- Portfolio disclaimers that distinguish capability demonstrations from verified results.
- A self-serve growth-call request with explicit confirmation expectations.
- Analytics events for scan start, scan completion, human review, booking and lead-form success.
The free organic-search foundation.
The domain is verified in Google Search Console. Priority pages are listed in an XML sitemap, and new URLs can be submitted for discovery. Search engines that support IndexNow receive the current sitemap URL set after publication. The insight library is deliberately small and substantive rather than a large collection of interchangeable keyword pages.
Every guide links to a relevant service, tool or adjacent article. Service pages link back to practical guides. That structure gives crawlers and people a coherent route through the subject instead of leaving articles as isolated posts.
- Unique titles, descriptions, canonical URLs and one descriptive H1 per priority page.
- Organization, Service, Article, CollectionPage, FAQ and Breadcrumb structured data where appropriate.
- Robots instructions and sitemap URLs aligned with the intended indexable pages.
- Google Analytics configured with named conversion events.
- Original guidance that clearly distinguishes facts, frameworks, concepts and future measurements.
What we will and will not claim.
The site has a stronger technical and editorial foundation, but a new foundation does not prove rankings or customer acquisition. Search engines need time to crawl, evaluate and compare pages. Commercial performance also depends on demand, competition, offer strength, authority, sales follow-up and the quality of future evidence.
We will review Search Console impressions, queries and indexed-page coverage; connect qualified inquiries to their landing pages; and update the pages that show real demand. When enough data exists, this case study can include dated baseline and outcome figures. Until then, the honest result is the implemented system itself.
| Now verified | Not yet claimed | Next evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Published service and insight architecture | Organic ranking growth | Search Console impressions and positions over time |
| Working sitemap and submission workflows | Guaranteed indexation | Indexed-page coverage and crawl dates |
| Named analytics conversion events | Improved lead volume or quality | Qualified inquiries tied to landing pages |
| Transparent concept portfolio | Client revenue impact | Future client-approved case studies with baselines |
